1. The service

Eventu helps people organize events and pool contributions. Organizers create events, participants RSVP and (optionally) chip in. When funding targets are met, Eventu issues a prepaid Visa to the organizer. Card-network surcharges and our platform fee of 5% (minimum $1.50) are deducted before the card is funded.

2. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed through our payment partner. If an event's targets aren't met by the deadline and the organizer chose automatic refunds, every successful payment is reversed to its original method within 3–5 business days.

3. Acceptable use

No fraud, no illegal events, no funding of regulated goods, no impersonation. Eventu may suspend any event or organizer at our discretion if we suspect abuse.

4. Liability

Eventu is provided "as is." We are not liable for any organizer's conduct or for whether an event actually takes place. Maximum liability is capped at the platform fees you paid us in the prior 6 months.
